Elliot Maza is a life science entrepreneur and co-founder of several biotechnology companies, recognized for his ability to transform vision into value across the pharmaceutical and med-tech sectors. His leadership experience includes serving as Interim and then Chief Executive Officer of Immune Pharmaceuticals, Inc., after joining its Board of Directors. Prior to that, Elliot was Chief Executive Officer and CFO at Intellect Neurosciences, Inc., as well as at Biozone Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Chief Financial Officer of Emisphere Technologies Inc.

Earlier in his career, Elliot built a foundation in law and finance, practicing as an attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York before transitioning to investment banking roles at Goldman Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. There, he developed and marketed structured finance and derivative transactions, sharpening the strategic perspective he brings to every boardroom today. He later became a Partner in Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young, LLP, advising on complex financial matters that shaped entire organizations.

Elliot has served on numerous Boards of Directors for OTC and NASDAQ-listed biotech companies, frequently chairing audit committees and overseeing governance with a keen eye for regulatory and fiduciary standards. He is a registered attorney and a licensed (inactive) CPA in New York and New Jersey, combining legal acumen with financial expertise.

Elliot holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Touro College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
